We encourage our members to come together as a community of faith.

Fellowship time is provided in our parlor before and after Sunday services and as part of our Wednesday night family time.

We have an active women's fellowship organization as well as adult Bible study groups that are organized from time to time.

Our fellowship committee organizes seasonal potlucks and church events..  Among these is our annual peace gathering.  We also have a weekly fellowship time after church.

First Congregational UCC regularly participates in ecumenical and community activities with our friends and neighbors in the Algona area..

"Trunk or Treat" is one of the community events we help with.
